Experience and Compassion
We have provided 20 years of Oncology care to the community and its surrounding areas. We provide medical specialist opinion in a wide range of benign and malignant disorders. We help orchestrate prompt and accurate diagnosis and staging of malignancies. Our clinical center provides state-of-the-art chemotherapy infusions.
We participate in and extensively support community cancer programs and charities. The doctors, nurses and staff of Antietam Oncology and Hematology Group are proud of the community we serve and are especially proud of the care we give to our patients.
Most importantly, our caring and compassionate physicians and staff are committed to working with you and your family during your treatment. We provide comfort, knowledge and expertise. When cancer touches your life we are here for you.
The growth of Washington County has brought many benefits and opportunities for everyone. It is our belief that our medical expertise, compassion for patients, and dedication will enhance oncology and hematology care in this community. Our goal is to provide more choices and greater convenience to our patients and referring physicians.
Our patients benefit from the results of a number of ongoing research trials and investigations. We participate in medical research activities. Currently ongoing trials are enrolling patients with lung, breast, lymphoma, as well as supportive care products, and anemia trials.
There are several benefits to participating in clinical trials including:
- Playing a more active role in one’s own health care
- Gaining access to novel treatments
- Helping others by contributing to medical research
Research is part of our commitment to innovation; providing access to new treatments that are not yet commercially available. We offer a variety of research studies on promising new therapies for patients who wish to consider this option. If a specific clinical trial is not available at our center, we make every effort to find clinical trials at other centers for our patients.
If you wish to discuss a trial, please contact our Research Department at (301) 797-8279.
